Who I am
Hello! My name is Oswin and I find joy in creating new and exciting projects. My love for building things started as a toddler where I enjoyed putting together Lego sets and building digital worlds in Minecraft.
Fast-forward to today, I enjoy using my love for building ideas to create products using code. My main focus is on building products that solve problems I see in my life.
My most recent project, PlatePromos, is reflective of this focus. As a group of friends, we saw a need for a way to find affordable food nearby for teens. With a goal in mind, we set off and built a website that functions as a digital bulletin board of coupons and deals that allow young people to find affordable food.

Projects I've built
FlashAPI
An API built using AWS and Python that generated fake human data which could be used to bypass bot protections. This taught me a ton about how AWS works and how to build REST APIs.

PlatePromos
With 4 friends, we created PlatePromos to provide discounts for high schoolers to eat at local restaurants. I helped develop the website using WordPress.

As an intern here, I worked on building their website as well as work on improving their data-collection products. I mainly worked with Python and HTML/JS/CSS to accomplish these tasks.
